The European Tasar Association

Primary Aim

Create the racing environment in Europe for the one design Tasar that leads to more adults, who sail above all for pleasure but enjoy sailing competitively, owning and sailing Tasars in Europe.

The Tasar is a one design adult sailing dinghy, originally designed for married couples to sail. The Tasar is now sailed by all who want a modern light fast sailing dinghy.

The Tasar Association is the national organisation of these Tasar Sailors. The Association is a not for profit organisation managed by a committee elected by the membership. 

Strategy and Tactics

1) Develop excellence in the overall standard of Tasar Sailing and Competitive Racing.

2) Increase the number of Tasar Sailors and Tasar Fleets in Clubs throughout Europe.

3) Encourage the next generation of Tasar sailors through supporting youngsters and 
    training of all who want to sail in a Tasar

Tactics

1) Organise good quality national Tasar sailing competition

2) Organise good quality national Tasar sailing training events

3) Encourage Tasar Association members to travel to other clubs, both for specific Tasar 
    traveller events and general open regattas.

4) Represent the interests of European Tasar sailors: 

in the world Tasar council and 

with the suppliers of the hull and sails
